Quadient Acquires Serensia to Lead EU E-Invoicing Compliance

Quadient , a global leader in intelligent automation and secure business communication, today announced its acquisition of Serensia, a leading French Partner Dematerialization Platform (PDP) certified by the French government for electronic invoicing. The move positions Quadient as a top-tier provider of compliant, scalable e-invoicing solutions for businesses across Europe.
Strengthening Regulatory Readiness for 8M+ French Businesses
The acquisition comes as over 8 million companies in France prepare for the 2026 mandatory e-invoicing regulation, part of a broader EU push for digital VAT compliance under initiatives like ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age). Serensia’s fully modular, Peppol-ready, and API-driven platform will be integrated into Quadient’s growing Digital Automation portfolio, accelerating readiness for upcoming mandates in France, Belgium, and Germany.
“This acquisition marks a strategic milestone,” said Geoffrey Godet, CEO of Quadient. “With Serensia’s certified infrastructure and expert team, we can now deliver an end-to-end, compliant invoicing solution for 150,000 European customers—faster, smarter, and ready for the future.”

A Future-Ready Digital Automation Platform
The deal, finalized on June 2, 2025, aligns with Quadient’s long-term vision to deliver trusted, regulation-proof digital solutions for financial automation. The integration of Serensia will:
