Industrial software provider UpKeep has secured a strategic growth investment from private equity firm Accel-KKR as the company accelerates its push into AI-powered asset operations. The asset operations platform announced this week that it received a strategic growth investment from Accel-KKR, a private equity firm known for backing enterprise software providers. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The investment is expected to support expansion of UpKeep’s broader operational technology platform, including development of what the company describes as its “AI-native” approach to asset operations management.

Originally known for its computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), UpKeep has evolved beyond maintenance scheduling software into a broader operational platform that spans maintenance, safety compliance, workforce learning, and AI-driven automation for industrial teams.
