Taylor Garvey Joins LISA Board, Promoted to AIR Managing Director as Life Settlement Sector Evolves

AIR Asset Management (AIR) has officially promoted Taylor Garvey to Managing Director and welcomed her to the Board of the Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA), reflecting her growing influence in the life settlement and alternative investment sectors.

Garvey’s LISA appointment occurred during the organization’s 31st Annual Meeting in New York City in October 2025. LISA, the leading trade association for the life settlement industry, aims to advance transparency, investor education, and market standards—goals Garvey is expected to champion. Her board role positions her at the center of strategic initiatives and industry dialogue as life settlements continue to attract institutional attention.

At AIR, Garvey’s promotion from Senior Director to Managing Director underscores her increasing role in shaping corporate strategy, capital-raising efforts, and investor engagement. She now serves as a voting member of the firm’s valuation committee and oversees teams across strategy, marketing, and communications, signaling a broader leadership footprint.

“Taylor’s formal welcome to the LISA Board and her promotion to Managing Director are a direct reflection of her impact on our organization and the broader industry,” said AIR CEO Richard Beleutz. “She brings a rare combination of strategic insight, capital markets experience, and execution discipline. Her leadership has been instrumental as we continue to scale AIR and strengthen our position as a leader in the longevity investment space.”

Garvey brings more than a decade of experience in strategic marketing, corporate positioning, and communications across alternative investments. Her previous roles at GCM Grosvenor included supporting brand strategy and communications for the firm’s IPO, spanning private equity, infrastructure, real estate, credit, and absolute return strategies. Earlier, she focused on product positioning and advisor engagement at Calamos Investments.

As life settlements increasingly attract attention from institutional investors seeking alternative yield and longevity-based assets, leaders like Garvey are driving the evolution of both operational standards and market education—cementing AIR’s growing influence in the space.
