complead Named to Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Türkiye

AI-native financial crime risk platform complead has been named to the 2026 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Türkiye, marking the fourth time the company has appeared on the ranking. The recognition comes as the former Sanction Scanner expands its compliance platform across financial institutions and international markets.

complead, an AI-native risk infrastructure provider for fraud and financial crime, has been named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Türkiye ranking for the fourth time. The company previously appeared on the list as Sanction Scanner in 2022 and 2023, ranking eighth in both years, and was recognized again in 2024. This is its first appearance under the complead brand.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Türkiye program, which has ranked technology companies in the country since 2006, evaluates businesses primarily on net revenue growth over a three-year period. Companies must also develop proprietary technology and make significant investments in research and development to qualify.

For complead, the latest recognition reflects a broader expansion from sanctions screening into a more integrated financial crime and risk platform. During the ranking period, the company says it grew to serve more than 800 financial institutions across more than 80 countries and opened an office in New York to support its expansion into the U.S. market.

The platform now combines sanctions screening, know-your-customer (KYC), know-your-business (KYB), adverse media monitoring, transaction monitoring and fraud prevention. Rather than operating each capability as an isolated compliance application, complead says its products share a common decision engine called Fusion.

That architecture is central to the company’s positioning in an increasingly fragmented financial crime technology market. Banks and fintech companies often deploy multiple systems for customer onboarding, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and fraud detection. Each additional system can introduce data handoffs, duplicated customer records and separate workflows for compliance teams.

complead’s Fusion platform is designed to treat a customer as a single risk profile across these functions. The approach is intended to reduce the number of transfers between systems and give compliance teams a more unified view of financial crime risk.

The model reflects a wider shift in financial technology toward consolidated risk infrastructure. Financial institutions are dealing with increasingly complex fraud patterns while also facing regulatory requirements around customer due diligence, sanctions compliance and transaction monitoring. At the same time, financial crime teams are experimenting with AI to automate parts of investigation and risk assessment.

The competitive landscape includes established enterprise compliance technology vendors as well as newer AI-focused platforms. Companies operating in adjacent areas include major financial technology and enterprise software providers, while banks are also increasingly connecting fraud, identity and compliance systems to create more unified risk operations.

For fintechs and financial institutions, the appeal of an integrated platform is not simply the number of compliance capabilities it offers. The larger question is whether those capabilities can share data and risk signals without creating additional operational complexity. That makes the underlying decision and data architecture increasingly important as institutions expand digital onboarding and real-time payments.

The cross-border nature of complead’s customer base also illustrates the international requirements facing financial crime technology providers. Serving institutions in more than 80 countries means supporting organizations that operate under different regulatory environments and face different combinations of sanctions, fraud and customer-risk challenges.

The company’s U.S. expansion adds another dimension to that strategy. Establishing a New York office gives complead a local presence in one of the world’s largest financial markets, where financial institutions continue to invest in fraud prevention, AML compliance and digital identity infrastructure.

The Deloitte recognition also extends a run of external industry acknowledgments. According to the company, complead has been named a G2 Leader in AML for five consecutive years and was included in the Inc. Türkiye 100 fastest-growing companies rankings in 2024 and 2025. It was also recognized in Deloitte’s regional Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking in 2023 and 2024.

Fatih Coşkun, founder and CEO of complead, attributed the company’s repeated Fast 50 appearances to customer retention and expansion, as well as its ability to enter new markets.

The recognition does not by itself establish how complead compares with individual competitors on detection accuracy, false-positive rates or regulatory outcomes. But its repeated appearance in a growth-focused technology ranking highlights a broader trend: financial institutions are increasingly looking for financial crime infrastructure that can connect compliance and fraud workflows rather than adding another standalone tool to an already crowded technology stack.

Market Landscape

Financial crime technology is moving toward integrated risk infrastructure, with banks and fintechs looking to connect AML, KYC, KYB, sanctions screening, fraud detection and transaction monitoring.

The shift is particularly relevant to digital payments and embedded finance, where faster transactions and increasingly digital customer journeys can create new fraud and compliance challenges. AI is also becoming a larger part of the market, particularly for alert prioritization, identity assessment, anomaly detection and investigation workflows.

For vendors such as complead, the opportunity is therefore less about adding another individual compliance feature and more about becoming the shared infrastructure connecting multiple financial crime decisions.
