BingX Reports 953% Growth in AI Trading Toolkit Requests

  • News
  • November 2, 2026

BingX says daily requests to its AI Skills Hub increased from 2.85 million to 30 million over five months, a rise of approximately 953%, as traders increasingly use AI assistants to access market information and manage exchange activity. The toolkit connects coding assistants including Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf with BingX services through an API skills library, allowing users to query balances, review positions, track orders, and place trades through conversational prompts. The figures are based on platform usage data disclosed by BingX.

BingX says daily requests to its AI Skills Hub increased from 2.85 million to 30 million over five months, highlighting growing use of conversational AI tools in cryptocurrency trading. The toolkit connects AI coding assistants, including Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf, with BingX exchange services through an API skills library. Users can query market information, review account balances and positions, track orders, and initiate trading operations through natural-language prompts.

The announcement points to a change in how traders interact with exchange infrastructure. Rather than navigating multiple dashboards or writing API integrations manually, users can instruct an AI assistant to retrieve information or perform supported account operations. BingX says the toolkit includes nearly 30 skill modules covering spot trading, perpetual futures, coin-margined contracts, copy trading, account management, and technical analysis.

The reported increase represents approximately 953% growth in daily requests. The figure is based on BingX’s internal usage data and does not establish how many individual traders are using the toolkit, how frequently they trade, or whether AI-assisted activity has improved trading performance.

Connecting AI Assistants With Exchange APIs

BingX AI Skills Hub functions as an integration layer between compatible AI assistants and the exchange’s application programming interfaces (APIs). Its skill modules provide structured instructions that help an AI assistant understand available exchange operations and construct the relevant API requests.

The toolkit covers both information retrieval and trading-related functions. Market data requests can provide information such as prices, order-book depth, funding rates, and trading activity. Account-related functions can retrieve balances, positions, and order information, while supported trading modules can submit or manage orders.

BingX’s public API skills repository documents modules for spot trading, perpetual futures, account management, wallet operations, and technical analysis. It also provides installation methods for compatible AI coding assistants, allowing users to add the skills to their existing workflows.

This approach reduces the need for users to write API integration code themselves. The assistant interprets a request, selects the relevant skill, constructs the API call, and presents the result through a conversational interface.

However, the underlying exchange API remains responsible for executing the actual operation. The AI assistant is an interface to the trading infrastructure, not a replacement for the exchange’s order-matching or account systems.

Trading Activity Drives Usage

BingX identified four patterns in its usage data. Trading-related activity accounted for 40% of the top 10 request types, while market data APIs represented 26% of those requests.

The figures suggest that users are applying AI assistants to more than general market research. Checking positions, reviewing account information, and managing orders are becoming part of the reported use cases.

The company also highlighted growing use among affiliate partners, some of which are building customised dashboards to analyse trading activity, transaction volumes, and commission data. This creates a business-to-business dimension to the toolkit, extending its potential applications beyond individual traders.

For partners, the ability to query exchange data through an AI assistant could simplify reporting and internal analysis. Instead of building every dashboard function independently, developers can use existing API skills to retrieve and organise relevant information.

Still, BingX has not disclosed the number of active integrations, individual users, or partner-built dashboards. The usage figures therefore provide an indication of request activity rather than a complete measure of adoption across the wider crypto market.

Human Confirmation Remains Important

Connecting conversational AI to live trading systems introduces operational and security considerations. A market-data query is different from an instruction to place an order, change leverage, or transfer assets. Errors in interpreting a request or handling account permissions can have direct financial consequences.

BingX says its approach includes confirmation requirements and safeguards intended to keep users in control. Its public API skills repository documents a production-environment confirmation step for write operations, requiring users to type a confirmation command before actions such as placing orders or initiating transfers are executed. It also describes API-key masking and separate simulated and live trading environments.

These controls are important, but they do not remove the need for careful API-key management. Users must understand which permissions they grant, protect credentials, and restrict access to operations that are not required for a particular workflow.

The distinction between read and write permissions is especially relevant as AI assistants gain the ability to interact with financial accounts. Market information can often be retrieved without the same level of access required to execute trades or move funds. Keeping those permissions separate can reduce the impact of an incorrect instruction or compromised integration.

AI Becomes Another Interface to Crypto Markets

The launch reflects a broader movement toward agent-enabled financial applications, where users interact with services through AI assistants rather than conventional menus and dashboards. For crypto exchanges, this creates opportunities to make complex APIs more accessible to traders and developers.

The model also changes the competitive conversation. Exchanges may increasingly differentiate themselves through the quality of their API infrastructure, supported AI integrations, security controls, and developer tools, rather than relying only on trading interfaces and asset listings.

For BingX, the increase from 2.85 million to 30 million daily requests provides evidence of rising activity within its own AI toolkit. The next challenge will be maintaining reliability and security as more users connect conversational interfaces to account information and live trading operations.

The longer-term significance will depend on whether these tools improve access to exchange services without encouraging users to delegate financial decisions without sufficient oversight. AI can simplify the process of retrieving information and submitting instructions, but trading risk, execution outcomes, and responsibility for decisions remain with the account holder.

Market Landscape

BingX’s announcement sits at the intersection of three developments:

  • AI-assisted financial workflows: AI coding assistants are evolving from tools for generating software into interfaces that can interact with external APIs and operational systems.
  • Crypto exchange API ecosystems: Exchanges are making trading, account management, and market-data services accessible to developers and third-party applications.
  • Agentic trading infrastructure: Conversational systems can retrieve financial information and initiate supported actions, increasing the importance of permission controls and human approval.

The main differentiator is not simply that AI can analyse crypto markets. It is the connection between natural-language interaction and exchange operations. That creates convenience, but also increases the importance of API security, credential management, and confirmation safeguards.

BingX’s disclosed figures should be treated as company-reported usage metrics. They do not independently demonstrate that AI-assisted trading is becoming more profitable or that the trend extends across the broader cryptocurrency market.
