Helios Fairfax Appoints Vitali Harwardt as New CFO

Helios Fairfax Partners Corporation (TSX: HFPC.U) has announced that Vitali Harwardt will join the company on November 3, 2025, and assume the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of both Helios Fairfax Partners and its investment manager, Helios Investment Partners (HIP), effective January 1, 2026. Interim CFO Michael Corcoran will continue overseeing the finance function until the end of 2025, ensuring a smooth leadership transition.

Harwardt brings nearly two decades of experience across private equity, public companies, and global operations, with deep expertise in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, tax, and strategic finance across multiple jurisdictions.

Most recently, he served as Managing Director & CFO at EMH Partners, a European private equity firm managing $1.8 billion in assets, where he led finance, accounting, valuation, tax, and risk functions. He previously held senior finance roles at Pictus Capital, Scout24 AG, and ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, and began his career with Deloitte and KPMG, managing large-scale finance transformations and M&A transactions. Harwardt holds an MBA from Freie Universität Berlin and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Tax Advisor.
