PayCargo Adds Credit Card Payments in Hong Kong, Boosting Logistics Cash Flow

PayCargo, a leading logistics payment platform, has launched credit card support for customers in Hong Kong, marking a major step in modernizing financial operations for the freight and logistics community. The platform, which connects carriers, forwarders, warehouses, and vendors, now allows companies to manage working capital more efficiently through flexible credit-based payments.

Strategic Partnerships Power Expansion

The rollout comes in collaboration with HSBC and Mastercard. Eligible cardholders of HSBC Corporate, Purchasing, and Virtual Corporate Mastercards can take advantage of special promotions. All transactions are securely processed by PayCargo’s partner, Autotoll International, ensuring reliability and compliance.

“By combining our logistics-specialized platform with HSBC’s expertise and Mastercard’s global network, we’re delivering secure, flexible solutions that meet the evolving needs of the logistics sector,” said Adriaan Reinders, CEO International of PayCargo.

Yvonne Yiu, HSBC’s Head of Global Payments Solutions, Greater China, emphasized that traditional payment methods like cash and cheques have long dominated logistics but require heavy administrative effort. Credit card payments now offer faster reconciliation and greater cash flow control.

Helena Chen, Senior VP at Mastercard Hong Kong & Macau, added that enabling credit card payments supports access to reliable credit, boosts local economic growth, and helps businesses thrive in global supply chains.

Why It Matters

Logistics businesses often face tight margins and complex cash flow challenges. By integrating credit card options, PayCargo not only simplifies payment processes but also strengthens the financial agility of carriers, warehouses, and freight forwarders. The move aligns with a broader industry push toward digital, end-to-end financial solutions that reduce administrative friction while supporting global supply chain operations.
