Aurora Payments, a full-service payment technology provider, has named Dominic Litten as Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately. Litten will spearhead the company’s commercial strategy, overseeing sales, partnerships, and marketing initiatives to expand Aurora’s footprint and accelerate growth across key verticals.

Litten, who joined Aurora in February 2025, has already played a pivotal role in enhancing go-to-market execution, advancing the company’s ISV and embedded commerce strategy, and aligning commercial operations with its product-led growth model.

“Dominic has been instrumental in Aurora’s evolution this year,” said Derek Dean, CEO of Aurora Payments. “His experience building high-performing teams, forging strategic partnerships, and driving payments adoption uniquely position him to lead our commercial organization into its next phase of growth as we continue scaling as a modern, product-led fintech platform.”

Before Aurora, Litten held senior leadership roles at EverCommerce, where he oversaw marketing, third-party partnerships, and payments activation. He brings more than 20 years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, SaaS, and financial services, with a strong record in revenue acceleration and market expansion.

Commenting on his appointment, Litten said, “Aurora has established itself as a leader with a strong culture, innovative products, and a growing partner ecosystem. I’m excited to build on this foundation by deepening customer relationships and driving the next phase of commercial growth for both merchants and ISVs.”

This move highlights Aurora’s continued investment in executive leadership, following recent appointments including Avin Arumugam as Chief Product and Technology Officer in April and Ryan Cross as Chief Financial Officer in July. The additions signal Aurora’s commitment to scaling its product-led fintech platform and expanding its reach in the embedded payments ecosystem.
