Paysafe Teams Up with CMC Markets to Bring Digital Wallets to Global Traders

Paysafe (NYSE: PSFE) is making a strategic push into the online trading world through a new partnership with CMC Markets (LSE: CMCX). The collaboration introduces Paysafe’s digital wallets—Skrill and Neteller—as the first alternative payment methods (APMs) for CMC traders in Europe, south-east Asia, the Middle East, and other global regions, excluding the UK and US.
For traders accustomed to juggling forex, commodities, shares, indices, or treasuries, this integration promises a smoother funding experience. CMC users can now deposit and withdraw funds via Skrill and Neteller—two digital wallets with over 20 years of experience in the financial trading ecosystem. That means rapid transfers, minimal delays, and the flexibility to move funds between trading accounts, bank accounts, or other APMs seamlessly.
The move also signals Paysafe’s ambition to extend its global footprint in trading payments. With Skrill and Neteller available in 130 countries, future expansions may include Latin America and the addition of other Paysafe APMs, creating a more unified, worldwide payment infrastructure for online traders.
Rob Gatto, Paysafe’s Chief Revenue Officer, emphasized the synergy: “We’re delighted to partner with a financial trading broker as prestigious and well-established as CMC Markets. Our digital wallets are popular with traders and we look forward to facilitating transactions for CMC customers globally.”
Alexander Praill, Head of Payment Services at CMC Markets, highlighted the user-focused impact: “Skrill and Neteller’s global popularity and long association with online trading make this integration particularly impactful. Traders can now make payments and withdrawals using their preferred medium, giving them the freedom to trade their way.”
This partnership reflects broader industry trends, as trading platforms increasingly adopt digital wallets and APMs to meet the demand for instant, secure, and flexible payment options. It also positions Paysafe alongside other major fintech players bridging traditional finance and trading ecosystems, a sector growing more competitive as customer expectations shift toward seamless, multi-channel transactions.
