Americor Elevates Drew Bourne to SVP of Strategic Finance

Americor, the Irvine-based consumer financial services provider best known for its debt relief solutions, has promoted Drew Bourne to Senior Vice President of Strategic Finance and FP&A. The move signals the company’s growing emphasis on long-term capital planning and enterprise-wide financial strategy.

From Director to SVP in Under Three Years

Bourne joined Americor in August 2022 as Director of FP&A and quickly ascended the ranks. Within a year, he was named VP of Strategic Finance and FP&A, and now, less than three years later, he’s stepping into the SVP role.

That kind of trajectory doesn’t go unnoticed. “Drew’s expertise has been instrumental in developing and executing our strategic long-term financial plans,” said CEO David Norris. “He’s consistently delivered results that impact the entire organization.”

CFO Barry Rafferty echoed the praise, highlighting Bourne’s ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership.

A Broader Mandate

In his new role, Bourne will oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis function across Americor, covering budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning. He’ll also be tasked with crafting enterprise-wide initiatives and long-term capital strategies—a clear indication that Americor is planning to scale more aggressively in the coming years.

The appointment also comes as the consumer finance sector faces shifting market conditions: higher interest rates, tighter capital markets, and a growing demand for debt relief services. Having a seasoned finance leader steering strategy could prove crucial as Americor navigates that terrain.

Bourne’s Background

Before Americor, Bourne built a 12-year track record in finance leadership, specializing in capital raises, M&A transactions, and FP&A team-building. He has worked across investment banking and real estate marketplace tech, with a focus on automating financial processes to improve profitability.

A graduate of Arizona State University’s Barrett Honors College, Bourne holds dual BAs in Finance and Marketing.

Looking Ahead

For Americor, the promotion reflects both confidence in Bourne and the company’s intent to double down on disciplined growth. For Bourne, it’s an opportunity to shape financial strategy at scale.

“I am honored and grateful to be appointed to this new leadership position,” Bourne said, noting his continued commitment to Americor’s mission of providing debt relief.

If his rapid rise at Americor is any indicator, the company is betting that Bourne’s mix of strategy, speed, and financial rigor will pay dividends in its next growth phase.
