SEB AB Modernizes P&L Reporting with ActiveViam’s Atoti Platform

ActiveViam, a global leader in advanced data analytics solutions for financial services, announced that SEB AB, the leading Nordic corporate bank, has implemented ActiveViam’s flagship product, Atoti, as its profit and loss (P&L) reporting solution. This deployment replaces legacy spreadsheet-based processes with a modern, scalable platform designed for real-time and historical P&L analysis.
Enhanced P&L Reporting and Control
SEB’s new tool, called P&L Sentinel, supports P&L Control and fifteen trading desks managing all traded funded instruments. Atoti’s multidimensional cubes and distributed data architecture enable instant access to granular operational data from the executive level down to detailed business operations, with historical insights spanning the last 40 business days. The platform also facilitates monthly, quarterly, and yearly-to-date aggregated portfolio calculations.
Workflow-Driven Validation and Reporting
The Atoti Sign Off module helps SEB monitor and manage daily internal validation and reporting activities, meeting the requirements of both the P&L Control team and Front Office. Integrated within the Atoti user interface, SEB benefits from a unified dashboard environment that streamlines analysis, reporting, and end-of-day validation processes in line with internal workflow standards.

Rasoul Najafi, Market Risk Director at SEB, emphasized the platform’s role in modernizing P&L management: “P&L Sentinel enables effective monitoring and communication of profit and loss with advanced drill-down capabilities, improving oversight, transparency, and adaptability.”
